The Annual Snapper Spawning Event
The annual snapper spawning event in Palau is a mesmerizing spectacle that draws divers from around the world. During the months of March and April, thousands of snapper fish gather in Palau's waters to reproduce in synchronized harmony. This breathtaking phenomenon is characterized by swirling clouds of silvery bodies against the backdrop of the coral reef, as male and female snappers release clouds of sperm and eggs into the water. Witnessing this awe-inspiring display of nature's beauty and resilience is a truly unforgettable experience for divers exploring the waters of Palau.
About the liveaboard - Black Pearl Explorer
At 46 meters (153 feet) in length, the M/Y Black Pearl Explorer is spacious and sophisticated with state-of-the-art amenities.
Accommodating up to 24 divers, this luxury vessel has 12 staterooms split into two Master Seaview Staterooms (13 and 14), and four main deck deluxe ocean view staterooms (9,10,11, and 12), and five lower deck standard cabins (1,2,3,4,5 and 6). All cabins have an ocean view, some with large windows, some with portholes. As well, all cabins feature air conditioning, LED TV, in-room entertainment, high-quality linens, pillows and towels.
